Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Pastor Firman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 33 minutes into the match, Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Mietus came free, but Jonathan Palmquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Granate getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Robert Kirby hit a great ball. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Ignacio Telo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Palmquist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Granate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Palmquist should have stopped the shot.
