Talleres de Escalada's Serafin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philipp Darmstadt in the 3rd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Philipp Darmstadt in the 4th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 7 minutes into the game, Hornbosteler SV's Philipp Darmstadt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafin Bernal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Hornbosteler SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernhard Gronau to maneuver through the defense. Fredo Rösch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xepe Godan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Hornbosteler SV's Fredo Rösch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xepe Godan in the 16th minute of play. Fredo Rösch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xepe Godan in the 16th minute of play. Xepe Godan took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredo Rösch. Fredo Rösch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 26 minutes into the game, Xepe Godan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Fredo Rösch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Serafin Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Överman in the 28th minute of play. Talleres de Escalada's Serafin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Överman in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Bernhard Gronau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serafin Bernal skillfully saved the ball. Talleres de Escalada's Serafin Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oriano Junco in the 32nd minute of play. Xepe Godan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fredo Rösch made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Xepe Godan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredo Rösch. Hornbosteler SV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xepe Godan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Xepe Godan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oriano Junco made a kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Fredo Rösch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Hornbosteler SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oriano Junco to maneuver through the defense. Xepe Godan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredo Rösch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Remigio Feliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talleres de Escalada's attentive Thibault Moon managed to snatch the ball when Bernhard Gronau made a throw-in in the 60th minute of the game. Fredo Rösch came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres de Escalada's Xepe Godan. But to his dismay, Xepe Godan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Fredo Rösch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Urdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Xepe Godan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Christian Urdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hornbosteler SV's Fredo Rösch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xepe Godan in the 81st minute of play. Serafin Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philipp Darmstadt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Fredo Rösch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Talleres de Escalada's Marcos Acuña was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fredo Rösch in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Hornbosteler SV defense, Xepe Godan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredo Rösch. The Hornbosteler SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredo Rösch should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Talleres de Escalada booed when Hornbosteler SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Van den Bossche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hornbosteler SV's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Talleres de Escalada had won, even though Hornbosteler SV had held more of the ball.
