In the 3rd minute Clodoveo Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atauri Salan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Camarasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Balesio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Richard Barreto made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Arvin Låsberg. 7 minutes into the match, Carlos Camarasa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AC Rangers's Rosendo Balesio. Rosendo Balesio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Atauri Salan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wei De Ling in the 10th minute of play. After some careless play in the AC Rangers defense, Carlos Camarasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Balesio. The AC Rangers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Balesio should have stopped the shot. Carlos Camarasa struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Rosendo Balesio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.D. Puente Cantalojas. AC Rangers's Rosendo Balesio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save AC Rangers from getting a goal against them. Xurde Yerro's late challenge caught a AC Rangers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xurde Yerro helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes A.D. Puente Cantalojas got a freekick which was hit by Xurde Yerro. 46 minutes into the game, Fabricio Quexal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Rangers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.D. Puente Cantalojas the free kick. In the 46th match minute, AC Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Quexal to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Rosendo Balesio threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Camarasa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Camarasa to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Camarasa in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Balesio saved AC Rangers from getting behind. After 53 played minutes AC Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Penkalski. 55 minutes into the match, A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Carlos Camarasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Balesio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 65 minutes AC Rangers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arvin Låsberg who took care of the corner kick. Rosendo Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Camarasa in the 69th minute of play. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Emil Valström was substituted for Erland Odman. The throw-in from Fabricio Quexal in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.D. Puente Cantalojas's Bart Brandie. Farid Vergnolle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosendo Balesio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Farid Vergnolle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Balesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.D. Puente Cantalojas's attentive Bart Brandie managed to snatch the ball when Fabricio Quexal made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Farid Vergnolle in the 82nd minute of play forced AC Rangers's goalkeeper Rosendo Balesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Quexal hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Farid Vergnolle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Balesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
