In the 14thth minute of the game Xacintu Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FA Sandtown's Radowit Trzaskoma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Bernd Rechmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Bucaramanga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FA Sandtown the free kick. The supporters of FA Sandtown booed when Atlético Bucaramanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernd Rechmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luizinho Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Kissel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FA Sandtown's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ludomil Narbut in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Kissel in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luizinho Paranaense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aleksander Kissel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Luizinho Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radowit Trzaskoma was a little too slow when Bernd Rechmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Radowit Trzaskoma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Czubski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When FA Sandtown's Aleksander Kissel in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Bucaramanga's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerson Gonzales got free with Radowit Trzaskoma in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Larsson came free, but Luizinho Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radowit Trzaskoma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerson Gonzales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aleksander Kissel to strike the kick off in the second half. FA Sandtown's Radowit Trzaskoma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Czubski in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Adam Czubski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Radowit Trzaskoma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, Atlético Bucaramanga's goalkeeper Luizinho Paranaense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aleksander Kissel. Aleksander Kissel struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Luizinho Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FA Sandtown. Atlético Bucaramanga's Hernando Harroyo was substituted for Xacintu Ribeiro. Benoit Van Bettenrode took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luizinho Paranaense. Luizinho Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. FA Sandtown made a substitution. Mariusz Budarz replaced Edward Kasiewski. 77 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Czubski came free, but Radowit Trzaskoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksander Kissel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizinho Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Koczara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerson Gonzales scored 3-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radowit Trzaskoma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Radowit Trzaskoma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernando Harroyo in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético Bucaramanga had won after a very even match.
