Angel Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 13th minute of the match. Leonardo Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute Xu Wei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brent-Jan Kindermans scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Ekrot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angel Xacintu made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Martin Mutumba sent off a good shot on target. Vykans Vikingar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jose Indalecio in the 34th minute. Vykans Vikingar's Hílton Souza was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angel Xacintu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Angel Xacintu stood somewhat misplaced when Leonardo Trancoso came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 34 minute. In the 40th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Brolin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vykans Vikingar's zone, Petre Zărnescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal and Petre Zărnescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Lluc's late challenge caught a Vykans Vikingar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Lluc helped the player get up and apologised. 43 minutes into the game, one of Carhue:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carhue:s Angel Xacintu showed great skill when he stopped Jose Indalecio:s penalty. Martin Mutumba who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Angel Xacintu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Simon Brolin lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 46 minutes into the game, one of Vykans Vikingar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Carhue a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Petre Zărnescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot. 2-3. After the first half Carhue were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Trancoso was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carhue's goalkeeper Angel Xacintu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Petre Zărnescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xu Wei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Brent-Jan Kindermans took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Marcus Ekrot to make any attempt to save it. Carhue's Justo Egoitz was substituted for Brent-Jan Kindermans. Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis was substituted for Fernan Berart. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Bengt-Arne Haglund replaced Martin Mutumba. Carhue made a substitution. Dé Čáp replaced Petre Zărnescu. Angel Xacintu came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso. But to his dismay, Leonardo Trancoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Egoitz in the 86th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Bengt-Arne Haglund put it in 4-4 from a short distance just to the right of Angel Xacintu. 96 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Egoitz came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
