Akis Sarafis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joris Scheer in the 7th minute. Armando Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyriakos Seremetis in the 10th minute of the match. Armando Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltos Margaritidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kyriakos Seremetis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. S.C.CHUÍ's Armando Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Marley in the 19th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, AFC Ajax's Bob Marley made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Akis Sarafis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Bob Marley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, German Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris Scheer got free with Akis Sarafis in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AFC Ajax's Akis Sarafis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Ajax from getting a goal against them. Akis Sarafis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joris Scheer went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 48th minute Bob Marley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

S.C.CHUÍ made a substitution. Caetano Paranaense replaced Luiz Pereira. The wind increased when Bob Marley made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Abreu in the 67th minute of play forced AFC Ajax's goalkeeper Akis Sarafis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joris Scheer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AFC Ajax made a substitution. Michelangelo Merganiotis replaced Bob Marley. S.C.CHUÍ made a substitution. Elder Donatello replaced Luis León. In the 74th match minute, AFC Ajax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Tsebelis to maneuver through the defense. S.C.CHUÍ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elder Donatello in the 77th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Froilan Bartolome heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 81st minute, Joris Scheer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C.CHUÍ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Akis Sarafis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joris Scheer in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Markos Seremetidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S.C.CHUÍ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AFC Ajax for a fine match.
