Coice de Mula's Gianluigi Orange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Giardino in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the tHe SOnS of rAGnar defense, Medárd Horváth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Sá. The tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Sá should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Gianluigi Orange had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexis Alexandris. Carlos Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Sá having to interfere. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Ulysses Matorin was substituted for Grigoris Kornaros. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Medárd Horváth to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute of the match tHe SOnS of rAGnar got a corner. Coice de Mula's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kosmas Salaminiotis ran over to the corner to take the kick. tHe SOnS of rAGnar's Kosmas Salaminiotis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gianluigi Orange in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 63 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Alexandris came free, but Gianluigi Orange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gianluigi Orange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Alexandris, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 85th minute of the match Laurence Snow shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gianluigi Orange showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Walter Giardino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Orange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Möllgren in the 93rd minute of play forced Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Gianluigi Orange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Eskil Möllgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gianluigi Orange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 played minutes Coice de Mula got a freekick which was hit by Well-Well Übelhöhr. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Coice de Mula had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
