The audience was convinced that Enrique Cassaretto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Davison was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. George Forsyth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olli Fiedler, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Sportivo Luan Toro were awarded a corner. Alberto Fidencio went to the cornerflag to take it. Zuri Castillejo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Luan Toro's zone, Tulio Andinyach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Davison came out of the goal and Tulio Andinyach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Olli Fiedler came free, but George Forsyth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Iacob Roman hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Cassaretto was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Mouricio Zuri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Municipal and the Sportivo Luan Toro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mouricio Zuri hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Mouricio Zuri got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Enrique Cassaretto. If Enrique Cassaretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. George Forsyth made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Olli Fiedler sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olli Fiedler in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Forsyth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the game, Enrique Cassaretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Robert Davison was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Jo Barone replaced Emanuel Barbu. CD Municipal made a substitution. Aureliano Buendia replaced Tulio Andinyach. CD Municipal's Oalo Dean was substituted for Zlatan Molina. After 72 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Moise. Jo Barone came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and George Forsyth could save by the left post. Robert Davison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oalo Dean in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute Justino Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes CD Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Moise. Jo Barone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but George Forsyth made a huge save. Jo Barone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Forsyth having to interfere. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Sportivo Luan Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Claris didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Oalo Dean came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sportivo Luan Toro's Robert Davison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oalo Dean in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CD Municipal had won after a very even match.
