Natã Quintal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Hallmundur Línbergsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Though ot was a great shot Funheitu Tærnar's keeper Hallmundur Línbergsson was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 93 minutes, Ragnar Finnbogason mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Funheitu Tærnar and the Nova Venécia-ES players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Funheitu Tærnar getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ragnar Finnbogason hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natã Quintal in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hallmundur Línbergsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nova Venécia-ES's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
