Vitório de Medeiros was slow to take the kick. During this time Barrio Norte FC's players had a chance to rest. After the first half Barrio Norte FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Acácio Nogueira was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Barrio Norte FC's Juan Luis Potts got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes Barrio Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Luis Potts. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Frutos got free with Ni Le Zheng in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ni Le Zheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a rather tough play, AC Batán's Enzo-Nicolás Perez got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in AC Batán's zone, Vitório de Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ni Le Zheng came out of the goal and Vitório de Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Barrio Norte FC defense, Konrad Wielkopolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentin Ospetsu. The Barrio Norte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentin Ospetsu should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Barrio Norte FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AC Batán throughout the match.
