Eugenio Manfredi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Ramiréz in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Ramiréz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Manfredi was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Hibai in the 25th minute of play forced Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Thibaut Vandamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thibaut Vandamme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Hibai in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Berenjenas de Punto Fijo booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Giusti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Alvaro Ramiréz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Manfredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Lunatics of Arianrhod made a substitution. Aurelio Epifani replaced Ernesto Benedetti. The wind increased when Henry Hamberg made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Juli Alvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Manfredi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hibai came free, but Thibaut Vandamme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juli Alvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Manfredi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Juli Alvarez might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Manfredi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juli Alvarez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Manfredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Juli Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juli Alvarez couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Denys. 73 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Hamberg came free, but Thibaut Vandamme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thibaut Vandamme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Berenjenas de Punto Fijo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Zdzislaw Rakowski hit a great ball. In the 78th minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Manfredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juli Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Henry Hamberg made a precise shot to the right of Thibaut Vandamme. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 84th minute, Aurelio Epifani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goal looked a bit too open when Juli Alvarez came free, but Eugenio Manfredi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Juli Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berenjenas de Punto Fijo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 90th minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Manfredi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lunatics of Arianrhod had played much better football throughout.
