This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ingi Castilho as he didn't even see the shot coming. 16 minutes into the match, Catarinense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ásbjørn Jónsson came free, but José Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Poul Enok Kwieciński in the 17th minute of play forced Catarinense F.C.'s goalkeeper José Chilavert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catarinense F.C.'s Zhu Chao Guang was substituted for Domingo Cavallo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gernando Cordeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. If Amarante Sierra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tinganes Bóltfelag's Ingi Castilho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Cordeiro in the 59th minute of play. Ingi Castilho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ásbjørn Jónsson got free with José Chilavert in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Poul Enok Kwieciński's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Chilavert was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Heri í Lon Jacobsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Catarinense F.C.'s José Chilavert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Catarinense F.C. from getting a goal against them. 96 minutes into the game, Klæmint Heri Dam threw the ball into play from the sideline. Catarinense F.C.'s Jorge Ler quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
