Yu Jian Tian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xie Ning Jun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Everardo Hartz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ermanno Valeri, made in the 10th minute of the game. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Pumas Serranos FC's goalie and right to Primitivo Tancredo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Pumas Serranos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 14th match minute, Club Pumas Serranos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Didier to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Yu Jian Tian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Xie Ning Jun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victoriano Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. With a little luck, Club Pumas Serranos FC's Xie Ning Jun got control of the ball when Yu Jian Tian tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Club Pumas Serranos FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Victoriano Rafel hit a great ball. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Javier Mazuste managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fidel Didier in the 22 minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Yu Jian Tian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 25th minute, Mariano Haimar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Jian Tian in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xie Ning Jun saved Club Pumas Serranos FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Jian Tian in the 31st minute of play forced Club Pumas Serranos FC's goalkeeper Xie Ning Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Club Pumas Serranos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yu Jian Tian came free, but Xie Ning Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Jian Tian in the 36th minute of play forced Club Pumas Serranos FC's goalkeeper Xie Ning Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Yu Jian Tian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Yu Jian Tian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xie Ning Jun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Danilo Gerber in the 43rd minute. Roberto Trotta tried in the game's 43rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Xie Ning Jun. An annoying self made goal, 3-0. Erasmo Campidelis charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmo Campidelis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

Club Pumas Serranos FC made a substitution. Aríel Etchegaray replaced Alfredo Barbosa. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aríel Etchegaray stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club Pumas Serranos FC's Xie Ning Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Jian Tian in the 57th minute of play. Xie Ning Jun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yu Jian Tian's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's José Sand was substituted for Yu Jian Tian. 66 minutes into the game, Fidel Didier threw the ball into play from the sideline. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Everardo Hartz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Xie Ning Jun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Sand in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ booed when Club Pumas Serranos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Didier didn't get a good kick on the ball. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ made a substitution. Ovidio Marin replaced Wen Hai Le. After a rather tough play, Club Pumas Serranos FC's Fidel Didier got a free kick in the 70th minute. José Sand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xie Ning Jun having to make a save. In the 83rd minute Ovidio Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Ning Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, José Sand made a precise shot to the right of Xie Ning Jun. Club Pumas Serranos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. José Sand blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xie Ning Jun having to make a save. In the 88th minute José Sand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Ning Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Sand in the 94th minute of play forced Club Pumas Serranos FC's goalkeeper Xie Ning Jun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were the better team. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
