R.B Leipzig's Thomas Bolander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Harold Tronconi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio RK75's supporters rose to their feet, but Harold Tronconi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Bolander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Grêmio RK75's Harold Tronconi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 16th minute, Guifre Belloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Harold Tronconi had to leave the field with a concussion. After 19 minutes, Osoitz Cascajares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the R.B Leipzig and the Grêmio RK75 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Grêmio RK75 made a substitution. Ximenes Montemayor replaced Harold Tronconi. The referee gave Grêmio RK75 a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ximenes Montemayor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of R.B Leipzig's Thomas Bolander. 3-0. R.B Leipzig's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Ximenes Montemayor scored to the left of an out of position Thomas Bolander, making the score, 4-0. When Ximenes Montemayor came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Grêmio RK75 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ximenes Montemayor couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio RK75's Ximenes Montemayor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomas Bolander. That made the score 5-0 after 30 minutes of play. Ximenes Montemayor took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Bolander. Thomas Bolander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When Osoitz Cascajares was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. Osoitz Cascajares hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Thomas Bolander made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Nilton Lira sent off a good shot on target. Julio Garay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Tinoco having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ximenes Montemayor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Bolander was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ximenes Montemayor in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Bolander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ximenes Montemayor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio RK75's supporters rose to their feet, but Ximenes Montemayor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Ximenes Montemayor put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Thomas Bolander. In the 60th match minute, R.B Leipzig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elequemedo Mirafuentes to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Bolander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximenes Montemayor in the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Ximenes Montemayor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio RK75's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ximenes Montemayor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. R.B Leipzig's Thomas Bolander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximenes Montemayor in the 65th minute of play. After some careless play in the R.B Leipzig defense, Ximenes Montemayor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Bolander. The R.B Leipzig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Bolander should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the match, Ximenes Montemayor notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of R.B Leipzig's Thomas Bolander. Thomas Bolander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the R.B Leipzig defense, Ximenes Montemayor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Bolander. The R.B Leipzig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Bolander should have stopped the shot. Thomas Bolander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ximenes Montemayor went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. Kaká Brasil hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Ximenes Montemayor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Bolander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Grêmio RK75's Ximenes Montemayor made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Bolander was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ximenes Montemayor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Ximenes Montemayor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grêmio RK75 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
