Thomás Toscano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dariusz Wos's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Daşdämir Albändiyev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Capibaribe Stars fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Capibaribe Stars's Daniel Sousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 41 minutes into the game, Camillo Terrasi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
