When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Gaafar Jesus put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Franz Kühne. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rutger Magnusson made the kick off in the second half. Ivan Turina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonic Supereko in the 66th minute of play. Abraham Lincoln kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Hawk Tuah FC's Frans Wennerquist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Délio Araújo in the 87 minute of the game. Sonic Supereko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Turina having to make a save. Ivan Turina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sonic Supereko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Franz Kühne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaafar Jesus. After 96 minutes Hawk Tuah FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaafar Jesus who took care of the corner kick. Rutger Magnussons short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got Franz Kühne to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The Örebro FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Örebro FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
