In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Fryderyk Lepper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Fryderyk Lepper managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Athletis PR's Silvério Fernandez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aengus Duggan in the 28th minute of play forced Athletis PR's goalkeeper Wiliam Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Nafarroa Hormeño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Aengus Duggan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Athletis PR's Wiliam Prado. Fryderyk Lepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Athletis PR's goal looked a bit too open when Coileán McAlphie came free, but Wiliam Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Athletis PR booed when Zawisza Bydgoszcz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Healey McLian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wiliam Prado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rian Dalton, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Coileán McAlphie in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wiliam Prado saved Athletis PR from getting behind. Athletis PR's Genílson Leme got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Fryderyk Lepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Ove Alebeck in the 73rd minute of play. In the 79th minute, Stig-Ove Alebeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fryderyk Lepper was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 89 minutes into the match, Athletis PR's goal looked a bit too open when Coileán McAlphie came free, but Wiliam Prado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Stig-Ove Alebeck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Fryderyk Lepper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Rosado came free, but Fryderyk Lepper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Aengus Duggan came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aengus Duggan couldn't finish the play. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
