The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21's goalkeeper Verner Holmberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gernando Pernambucano. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21! In the 8th minute, Desportiva Paulo Afonso got a penalty, and Arí Mello placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Gernando Pernambucano sped through TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Verner Holmberg. Gösta Boman hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Gernando Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Verner Holmberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gernando Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Verner Holmberg was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Gernando Pernambucano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Verner Holmberg. The goal made the score 6-0. Verner Holmberg came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Lisandro Beltxe. But to his dismay, Lisandro Beltxe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! In the 42nd minute, Lisandro Beltxe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desportiva Paulo Afonso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gernando Pernambucano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Lisandro Beltxe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Verner Holmberg. TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Beltxe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. After having played for 55 minutes, Tony Waller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tony Waller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lisandro Beltxe scored 11-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Verner Holmberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute Lisandro Beltxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Verner Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Lisandro Beltxe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desportiva Paulo Afonso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. 75 minutes into the match, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Gernando Pernambucano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Verner Holmberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Pernambucano in the 80th minute of play forced TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21's goalkeeper Verner Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Verner Holmberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando Pernambucano in the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Desportiva Paulo Afonso booed when TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Boman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, TAMANZEV ACADEMY U21's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Pernambucano came free, but Verner Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Gernando Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Verner Holmberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. When the referee ended the match the Desportiva Paulo Afonso players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
