But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pepijn Hummel couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 62nd minute Komen Schotte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Basmane Texas's Rıdvan İbrahimoğlu threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Serkan Kocaman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Basmane Texas to win.
