Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlo Borgatello took the kick off in the first half of the match. Aurelio Di Lullo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Borgatello's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Alessandro Mascitti charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Mascitti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Alessandro Mascitti hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the game, one of Valdieri:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aurelio Di Lullo had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Donato Dossena's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Carlo Borgatello hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlo Borgatello in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Di Lullo saved Valdieri from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Carlo Borgatello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Di Lullo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Carlo Borgatello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlo Borgatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Borgatello in the 21st minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlo Borgatello took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 32 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Borgatello came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Borgatello might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Di Lullo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlo Borgatello ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Carlo Borgatello made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Carlo Borgatello blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Di Lullo having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Carlo Borgatello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlo Borgatello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The Valdieri players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 0-5.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Attilio Fortunato to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Carlo Borgatello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aurelio Di Lullo. That made the score 0-7 after 55 minutes of play. Carlo Borgatello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Di Lullo came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlo Borgatello slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute Rui Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Borgatello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelio Di Lullo came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlo Borgatello slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 65th minute. Attilio Sciarra struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. In the 80th minute, Carmine Bonanni made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. After a defensive mix-up in Valdieri's zone, Carmine Bonanni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Di Lullo came out of the goal and Carmine Bonanni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmine Bonanni had several of the Valdieri's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Aurelio Di Lullo as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Didi Ladron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurelio Di Lullo was a little too slow when Carmine Bonanni got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-12. When the final whistle sounded Italy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Valdieri.
