The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nicolas Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karsten Zentner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Zentner in the 31st minute of play forced ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's goalkeeper Nicolas Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play, ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Humberto Suazo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Mühsam was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39 played minutes FC Germania München got a freekick which was hit by Silvester Overesch. Richard Mühsam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Suazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Suazo to make the kick off. Carlo Bussi kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Germania München getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Joost Deville hit a great ball. Carlo Bussi made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Humberto Suazo immediately put the ball in play. FC Germania München's Richard Mühsam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ranolfo Piedrahita in the 92nd minute of play. Karsten Zentner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute Karsten Zentner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
