Christian Abbiati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The White StarZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gonçalo Vides should have stopped the shot. Gonçalo Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuzalp Mesut, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Sielce Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Vestlund came free, but Christian Abbiati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sielce Warszawa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Abbiati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Cordareo charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Gonçalo Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dávid Trezeguet in the 115th minute of the match. Ernst Vestlund took the ball and in the 117 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Abbiati. Christian Abbiati dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. White StarZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
