Rafa Lojewski made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Gunnar Löfgren sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Facundo Bot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Máximo Laureano was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Terceirense F.C.'s Aleksander Kapera was substituted for Gunnar Löfgren. Terceirense F.C.'s Xavi Xavier was substituted for Gentil Setúbal. Go Ahead Eagles's Iustin Bâru was substituted for Erling Lewandowski. The Terceirense F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Go Ahead Eagles were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
