Erivaldo Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Lionel-Andrés Messi sent off a good shot on target.

Neil Mcinnes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluca Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Neil Mcinnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Gianluca Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s Sun Sha Xiong was substituted for Lleir Santiso. Neil Mcinnes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gianluca Buffon having to make a save.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
