The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Binali Özgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes Marrakech got a freekick which was hit by Abdellatif Lamin. 11 minutes into the match, Nouri Benthami notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ahlas Spor's Anıl Ozan Özerkmen. Anıl Ozan Özerkmen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atakan Çetinsu struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Abdelkhaliq Chafni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ahlas Spor. The audience was convinced that Binali Özgun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdelkhaliq Chafni was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 19th match minute, Ahlas Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamit Tokel to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdellatif Lamin couldn't finish the play. Salim El Khattabi took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anıl Ozan Özerkmen. Anıl Ozan Özerkmen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 29th minute, Atakan Çetinsu made a precise shot to the right of Abdelkhaliq Chafni. Marrakech's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Atakan Çetinsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Abdelkhaliq Chafni made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nouri Benthami in the 34th minute of play forced Ahlas Spor's goalkeeper Anıl Ozan Özerkmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anıl Ozan Özerkmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nouri Benthami in the 37th minute of the match. Abdelkhaliq Chafni was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Atakan Çetinsu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Atakan Çetinsu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After 48 minutes, Utkan Kutalmış mouthed his way into the referee's book. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faouzi Ziati stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Marrakech booed when Ahlas Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reşat Songurhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nouri Benthami could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Anıl Ozan Özerkmen made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Atakan Çetinsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anıl Ozan Özerkmen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faouzi Ziati, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. A collision led to Ahlas Spor getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Reşat Songurhan hit a great ball. If Binali Özgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 98th minute of the match Agwilal Zairi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Agwilal Zairi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Agwilal Zairi kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
