Ludwig Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Souto having to interfere. A hard shot 8 in the game by Fred Marquez from a close distance when the talented Karl-Oskar Alegren managed to make a qualified save. WSM FC's players were relieved. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by WSM FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juan Bertassi was slow to take the kick. During this time F C Metropolitan's players had a chance to rest. 16 minutes into the match, WSM FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanni Barreto came free, but Karl-Oskar Alegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvald Termander in the 18th minute of play forced F C Metropolitan's goalkeeper Fellipe Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Per-Oskar Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match WSM FC got a corner. F C Metropolitan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Osvald Termander ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on WSM FC's corner Osvald Termander fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fellipe Souto quite easily take care of the ball. Fellipe Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Oskar Björklund in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to F C Metropolitan getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Nelson das Neves hit a great ball. In the 31st minute of the match Osvald Termander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fellipe Souto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 32 played minutes F C Metropolitan got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Britto. Karl-Oskar Alegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Barreto in the 34th minute of play. Fred Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Oskar Alegren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Marquez went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

Fellipe Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Oskar Björklund in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to F C Metropolitan getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Vitório Veloso hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Ludwig Johnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovanni Barreto in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Oskar Alegren saved WSM FC from getting behind. WSM FC's Karl-Oskar Alegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Marquez in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of F C Metropolitan booed when WSM FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Wassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovanni Barreto struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Karl-Oskar Alegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F C Metropolitan. After 63 played minutes F C Metropolitan got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Salgado. In the 66th minute Per-Oskar Björklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fellipe Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joar Låsberg's late challenge caught a F C Metropolitan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The F C Metropolitan fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when F C Metropolitan's Geovanni Barreto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Marquez in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Oskar Alegren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Oskar Alegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanni Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vitório Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Karl-Oskar Alegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Bengt Häll took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fellipe Souto. F C Metropolitan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zeca Salgado hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Fred Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F C Metropolitan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. F C Metropolitan had won after a very even match.
