When Cevdet Evliya fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wizard Club's protests and gave Cevdet Evliya a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes Wizard Club got a freekick which was hit by Cevdet Evliya. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sarayköy! The referee gave Wizard Club a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baykan Durcan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sarayköy's Kurtuluş Yunus. 0-1. Mustafa Ali Durukan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wizard Club's Ramazan Hikmettin got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Ardahan Canbolat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarayköy and the Wizard Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sarayköy's Ardahan Canbolat got a free kick in the 26th minute. Kurtuluş Yunus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramazan Hikmettin in the 29th minute of play. With his leg Batıray Tura managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Sarayköy's Mansur Bilgen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 33 minutes into the match, Wizard Club's goalkeeper Batıray Tura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mansur Bilgen. Mustafa Ali Durukan struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Kurtuluş Yunus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wizard Club. The supporters of Sarayköy booed when Wizard Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baykan Durcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Cengiz Yesar made a kick off. Wizard Club's Batıray Tura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mansur Bilgen in the 55th minute of play. Sarayköy's Kurtuluş Yunus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Ali Durukan in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, Sarayköy's Kurtuluş Yunus got control of the ball when Ramazan Hikmettin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Sarayköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahsin Secaattin to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramazan Hikmettin got free with Kurtuluş Yunus in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kurtuluş Yunus was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Ramazan Hikmettin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramazan Hikmettin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 87th minute, Ali Cengiz Yesar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferman Ömür charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferman Ömür the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ali Cengiz Yesar's late challenge caught a Wizard Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Cengiz Yesar helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Sarayköy got a freekick which was hit by Ali Cengiz Yesar. Wizard Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
