After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when 巩渊泉 made the kick off in the second half. 罗延宇 came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Candeias could save by the left post. Silvério Lustosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. 胡源林 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 胡源林 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Lustosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If 巩渊泉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind 湖北宜昌飓风队's goalkeeper 胡源林, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
