Esteve Palben took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vasco Goycochea. Vasco Goycochea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Progreso Tres's Inocencio Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliverios Gayangos in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Adrianinho Meirelles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Inocencio Oinatz. That made the score 2-1 after 19 minutes of play. Vasco Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Palben, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Fausto Inko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Goycochea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Vasco Goycochea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Inko in the 31st minute of play. In the 37th minute, Ronaldo Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 39 minutes, Andriy Kaká mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ and the Progreso Tres players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Progreso Tres's Inocencio Oinatz got control of the ball when Adrianinho Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Palben in the 46th minute of play forced ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's goalkeeper Vasco Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Progreso Tres's Inocencio Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrianinho Meirelles in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Palben in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vasco Goycochea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Adrianinho Meirelles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Inocencio Oinatz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Mai Bin Kuan was substituted for Adrianinho Meirelles. In the 64th match minute, Progreso Tres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelacio Casillas to maneuver through the defense. 4-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Mai Bin Kuan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Mai Bin Kuan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Carlos Ancelotti was substituted for Ronaldo Cosme. In the 77th minute Mai Bin Kuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Mai Bin Kuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Oinatz. Progreso Tres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mai Bin Kuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Oliverios Gayangos managed to get in a good position for a shot. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliverios Gayangos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Oinatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Inko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasco Goycochea having to interfere. In the 90th minute Mai Bin Kuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Progreso Tres's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Bin Kuan came free, but Inocencio Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mai Bin Kuan scored 7-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inocencio Oinatz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
