Cuervos AFC's Evaristo Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurice Odonnell in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes Cuervos AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Théophile Berger who took care of the corner kick. After 29 minutes of play, Varennes's Erwin Gay made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Roldan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Maurice Odonnell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Roldan was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Varennes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cuervos AFC.
