Deportivo Capitalista's Andreas Hägglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Quirino in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Deportivo Capitalista's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Quirino came free, but Andreas Hägglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Deportivo Capitalista's Andreas Hägglund got control of the ball when Karl-Erik Magnusson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Ranolfo to make the kick off. When Genaro Ur came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Deportivo Capitalista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Ur couldn't finish the play. Chicão de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Loi in the 54th minute of play. Celedonio Monico made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Sarracino Marsano. 59 minutes into the game, Celedonio Monico threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.A Gryffindor's Armando Barrera quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 60 minutes into the game, C.A Gryffindor's Edgard Mangueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andreas Hägglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With a little luck, C.A Gryffindor's Chicão de Azevedo got control of the ball when Genaro Ur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andreas Hägglund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guilherme Mazer went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score.
