Maximo Aritza's late challenge caught a Leões do Sul 53's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frankie Gunn made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Jose Baldovino sent off a good shot on target. After 14 minutes of play, Leões do Sul 53's Arne Kullander made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loco De la Maza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jose Baldovino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Frankie Gunn made a huge save. Marciano Zubiaga made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Falckner FC's Tadeo Lluc. Gaspar Francesco hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Falckner FC's Loco De la Maza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Kullander in the 22nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Baldovino in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frankie Gunn saved Leões do Sul 53 from getting behind. Jose Baldovinos short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Frankie Gunn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 31 minutes, Jose Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falckner FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Baldovino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christiano Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Christiano Barreto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leões do Sul 53's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falckner FC the free kick. In the 38th minute, Christiano Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christiano Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Marciano Zubiaga kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Jose Baldovino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frankie Gunn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Leões do Sul 53 getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marciano Zubiaga hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 54th minute, Leões do Sul 53's Rony Rüşti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Loco De la Maza. Loco De la Maza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Jose Baldovino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frankie Gunn was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Frankie Gunn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Falckner FC's Tadeo Lluc quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marciano Zubiaga, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Frankie Gunn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose Baldovino's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 64th match minute, Leões do Sul 53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Zubiaga to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Leões do Sul 53's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Baldovino came free, but Frankie Gunn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Leões do Sul 53 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kraig Sandoval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Baldovino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Frankie Gunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Falckner FC's zone, Christiano Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loco De la Maza came out of the goal and Christiano Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frankie Gunn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Baldovino in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Loco De la Maza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arne Kullander in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Leões do Sul 53 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
