Angel-Enrique Comizzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Montrelle in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Montrelle came free, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Montrelle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo made a huge save. Reynaldo Montrelle in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Angel-Enrique Comizzo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Montrelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Reynaldo Montrelle scored 1-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel-Enrique Comizzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Björk in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Blue Angels's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Montrelle came free, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Gimnasia y tiro's Wieslaw Panasewicz got control of the ball when Patrik Skark tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute Markus Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wieslaw Panasewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wieslaw Panasewicz made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Marcus Berg sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Esben Nordborg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Blue Angels left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gimnasia y tiro.
