In the 5thth minute of the game Teodor Čerina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Gallo de Moron's Nacho Gonzalez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maurice Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Garrote, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of NK FOLKROLA booed when El Gallo de Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Garrote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodor Čerina in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nacho Gonzalez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Roldanillo in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to El Gallo de Moron getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Teofilo Garrote hit a great ball. Ismael Roldanillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nacho Gonzalez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Roldanillo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute, John Melet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Gallo de Moron's Teofilo Garrote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pascual Pagomari in the 34 minute of the game. 37 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Teodor Čerina came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 49th minute El Gallo de Moron were awarded a corner. Gilberto Ihazintu went to the cornerflag to take it. El Gallo de Moron's Gilberto Ihazintu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maurice Himschoot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 58th minute, Luisinho Laguna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurice Himschoot was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 61st minute, Teodor Čerina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nacho Gonzalez made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when John Melet sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Laguna in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurice Himschoot saved NK FOLKROLA from getting behind. A collision led to NK FOLKROLA getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Pascual Pagomari hit a great ball. Maurice Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Laguna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John Melet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nacho Gonzalez having to interfere. Maurice Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisinho Laguna in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Luisinho Laguna notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of NK FOLKROLA's Maurice Himschoot. Maurice Himschoot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. El Gallo de Moron made a substitution. Aldo Rico replaced Teofilo Garrote. In the 83rd minute, Teodor Čerina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the NK FOLKROLA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Gallo de Moron.
