The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of FC Kurdistan booed when Minuim SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidnei Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Lars Bammerman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristiano Lage. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikail Yerhum in the 14th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Bammerman got free with Cristiano Lage in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Bammerman in the 20th minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Cristiano Lage to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Lage stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Bammerman's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Cristiano Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Bammerman in the 25th minute of play. Cristiano Lage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Hybbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikail Yerhum in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alaaddin Solskjær prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristiano Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Bammerman in the 32nd minute of play. Anselmo de Sousa hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Anselmo de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Erhard Esbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström in 37 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Cristiano Lage guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Mikail Yerhum ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
