Igor Akinfeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charly Fernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Evgeniy Fomichev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Voskresensk FC's zone, Xesc Labarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Akinfeev came out of the goal and Xesc Labarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes Chacarita Futsal got a freekick which was hit by Charly Fernández. 12 minutes into the game, Xesc Labarra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Igor Akinfeev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charly Fernández recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charly Fernández struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Igor Akinfeev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacarita Futsal. 19 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's Xesc Labarra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Akinfeev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Danila Kolobov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Miguel Ángel Santoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute Charly Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Akinfeev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Voskresensk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita Futsal the free kick. Cipriano Nicholas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Igor Akinfeev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Charly Fernández in the 55th minute of play forced Voskresensk FC's goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xesc Labarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xesc Labarra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Igor Akinfeev made a huge save. After 61 played minutes Chacarita Futsal got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Nicholas. In the 62nd minute, Cipriano Nicholas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Voskresensk FC got a corner. Chacarita Futsal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roman Doronin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Voskresensk FC's Roman Doronin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Ángel Santoro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Voskresensk FC's Igor Akinfeev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Fernández in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Voskresensk FC's zone, Xesc Labarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Akinfeev came out of the goal and Xesc Labarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Voskresensk FC made a substitution. Egor Avinov replaced Vladimir Safarov. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Charly Fernández took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Igor Akinfeev to make any attempt to save it. Chacarita Futsal's Isidro Gaztea was substituted for Charly Fernández. Cesar Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Xesc Labarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Akinfeev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Voskresensk FC's goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danila Kolobov in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Lakhov in the 89th minute of play forced Chacarita Futsal's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Ángel Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evgeniy Fomichev in the 90th minute of play. If Evgeniy Fomichev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evgeniy Fomichev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chacarita Futsal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
