Clemente Isidor kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, CLATHU's Rafael Abeita got control of the ball when David Davenport tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dominic Beale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rafael Abeita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, CLATHU's goalkeeper Rafael Abeita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Davenport. Bradley Longstaffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Celipe in the 14th minute of play. Garry Dudgeon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, one of Egg Chasers FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Egg Chasers FC. John Bowden hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute CLATHU were awarded a corner. Javier Garaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Javier Garaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bradley Longstaffe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 37th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Booth to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes CLATHU got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Frans. In the 44th match minute, CLATHU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Isidor to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danny Booth made a kick off. Rafael Abeita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Booth in the 51st minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Amadeo Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CLATHU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Medero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CLATHU's Anibal Txema was substituted for Jacobo Sabin. After 62 minutes Egg Chasers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javier Garaona who took care of the corner kick. In the 65th match minute, CLATHU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Marino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Davenport in the 66th minute of play forced CLATHU's goalkeeper Rafael Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Dominic Beale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egg Chasers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind CLATHU's goalkeeper Rafael Abeita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. John Bowden kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when CLATHU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Txema didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Beale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Booth in the 83rd minute of play forced CLATHU's goalkeeper Rafael Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Frans hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Egg Chasers FC had played much better football throughout.
