In the 74th minute, Elias Garikoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Oidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Benigno Jesco hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Garanhão do SUL's Joel Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Cordareo in the 81st minute of play. Flavio Lucila took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Maciel. In the 86th minute, Alexandre Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garanhão do SUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Abel Lameirinhas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Alexandre Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anier Oidor came out of the goal and Alexandre Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Prokowski took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Oidor. Anier Oidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Garanhão do SUL had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
