Egg Chasers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gloria the free kick. After 42 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Garry Dudgeon. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prospero Gamus during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Egg Chasers FC's David Davenport shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isaias Baleren but with some difficulty. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Mikelar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnulfo Mikelar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Longstaffe having to interfere. Billy Bedford blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaias Baleren having to make a save. The supporters of Gloria booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alistair Riley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaias Baleren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Stonehouse in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Stonehouse in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaias Baleren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 73 minutes, Arnulfo Mikelar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gloria and the Egg Chasers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Arnulfo Mikelar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
