In the 2nd minute, Ralf Morcom had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Egg Chasers FC's Dave Linkletter was substituted for Ralf Morcom. The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Lorenzo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnaldo Hurko in the 7th minute. A nice corner shot did that Arnaldo Hurko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bradley Longstaffe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 11 minutes of play, Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Oidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Anier Oidor managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Egg Chasers FC's Damian Stonehouse fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anier Oidor made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Billy Bedford sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Arnaldo Hurko hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Leo Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute Celedonio Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradley Longstaffe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Flavio Lucila got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 29th minute, one of San Lorenzo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Lorenzo. Anier Oidor had in the 31stth minute some difficulties stopping David Davenport's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 38 minutes Egg Chasers FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arnaldo Hurko who took care of the corner kick. Damian Stonehouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Dominic Beale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anier Oidor. The goal made the score 2-1. After having played for 46 minutes, Damian Stonehouse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egg Chasers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Stonehouse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Egg Chasers FC's David Davenport tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celedonio Cordareo was the one to do the kick off. If Celedonio Cordareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egg Chasers FC's Bradley Longstaffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Lucila in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Celedonio Cordareo got a free kick in the 61st minute. The audience was convinced that Damian Stonehouse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Oidor was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 66th match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Hardcastle to maneuver through the defense. Celedonio Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bradley Longstaffe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradley Longstaffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Lucila in the 70th minute of play. Anier Oidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Beale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Stonehouse in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st match minute, Egg Chasers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jay Palmer to maneuver through the defense. Dominic Beale hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Celedonio Cordareo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. David Davenport took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anier Oidor. San Lorenzo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Beale didn't get a good kick on the ball.
