Gernando Azevedo scored 3-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils-Erik Jonsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Hubert Valler made the kick off in the second half. Arjen Robben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Gernando Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fortunato Froněk kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes, Med Gang FC's Qi Liang shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Carlos Lucas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Med Gang FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Andolín Dijk got a free kick in the 67th minute. Nils-Erik Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Uriel Bermudez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. João Carlos Lucas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gabriel Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils-Erik Jonsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
