In the 18th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Bondel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Tharaldsen in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Calistrat Madgearu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 21 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's Elias Tharaldsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Madgearu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elias Tharaldsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calistrat Madgearu having to make a save. 28 minutes into the match, MIT's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Tharaldsen. Ivan Vâtcă hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ksawery Bondel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Orășan in the 31st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Tharaldsen in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calistrat Madgearu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elias Tharaldsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Calistrat Madgearu made a huge save. Elias Tharaldsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calistrat Madgearu having to make a save. With a little luck, MIT's Calistrat Madgearu got control of the ball when Elias Tharaldsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The AC Mayonnaise players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MIT were winning 0-1.

When Nicodim Orășan came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the MIT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicodim Orășan couldn't finish the play. When MIT's Nicodim Orășan, in the 55th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for MIT. After 61 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Vâtcă. AC Mayonnaise's Fredrik Åström was substituted for Elias Tharaldsen. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiberiu Caramarin in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ksawery Bondel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Ksawery Bondel managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when MIT's Nicodim Orășan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ksawery Bondel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MIT's Nicodim Orășan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. MIT made a substitution. David Tunander replaced Dorin Banu. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Åström in the 74th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Nicodim Orășan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Bondel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ksawery Bondel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicodim Orășan went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. MIT's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Alex Balotă. 89 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Caramarin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ksawery Bondel. Tiberiu Caramarin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Fredrik Åström managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Mayonnaise's supporters rose to their feet, but Fredrik Åström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calistrat Madgearu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The AC Mayonnaise supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MIT's performance. The match ended with a win for MIT.
