It was a penalty for KKPN Baltyk Koszalin! Zbyszko Bugno had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Eric Tshabalala's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 6th minute of the match U21 South Africa got a corner. KKPN Baltyk Koszalin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eric Tshabalala ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 10th minute Lazarus Setlaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Bugno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, U21 South Africa's Sizwe Konza got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of KKPN Baltyk Koszalin booed when U21 South Africa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gary Konza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Kacper Plucinik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Wanani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sizwe Konza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zbyszko Bugno came out and tried to block the shot, but Sizwe Konza slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. After 22 minutes of play, U21 South Africa's Lazarus Setlaba made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbyszko Bugno was left in no man's land by his defense there! U21 South Africa's Freddie Wanani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kacper Plucinik in the 26th minute of play. Freddie Wanani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Dombrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Lazarus Setlaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Eleazar in the 35th minute of play forced U21 South Africa's goalkeeper Freddie Wanani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, U21 South Africa's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Plucinik came free, but Freddie Wanani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sizwe Konza kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lazarus Setlaba was the one to do the kick off. If Jacek Dombrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddie Wanani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, U21 South Africa's Eric Tshabalala got a free kick in the 56th minute. Freddie Wanani didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when KKPN Baltyk Koszalin's Jacek Dombrowski shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-3 in the ordered_time% minute. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U21 South Africa! When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, KKPN Baltyk Koszalin's Andrzej Lodowy got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. Freddie Wanani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horacio Eleazar in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddie Wanani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the match, KKPN Baltyk Koszalin's goal looked a bit too open when Lazarus Setlaba came free, but Zbyszko Bugno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Jacek Dombrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Wanani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zbyszko Bugno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sizwe Konza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Horacio Eleazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddie Wanani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kacper Plucinik in the 86th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Horacio Eleazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KKPN Baltyk Koszalin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Eleazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kacper Plucinik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Wanani having to interfere. Eric Tshabalala kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Freddie Wanani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Ruszkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in U21 South Africa's zone, Jacek Dombrowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Wanani came out of the goal and Jacek Dombrowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded KKPN Baltyk Koszalin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than U21 South Africa.
