After taking down the ball on A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s corner Luís Fabiano Cavalcante fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Igor Akinfeev quite easily take care of the ball. The throw-in from Dmitry Alenichev in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s Alfonso Eztebe. Damian Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Igor Akinfeev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Damian Heriberto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Igor Akinfeev. The goal made the score 1-0. If Damian Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Santos Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evgeniy Fomichev, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s Damian Heriberto in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Igor Akinfeev, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Igor Akinfeev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Heriberto in the 40th minute. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Damian Heriberto took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Igor Akinfeev to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Damian Heriberto made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s Damian Heriberto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Akinfeev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damian Heriberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Igor Akinfeev having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Heriberto in the 59th minute of play forced Voskresensk FC's goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the game, A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s Damian Heriberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Akinfeev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Voskresensk FC's Konstantin Lakhov was substituted for Vadim Basmannikov. Igor Akinfeev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Heriberto went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Heriberto in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Akinfeev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Igor Akinfeev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Heriberto in the 87th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Damian Heriberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Igor Akinfeev. Voskresensk FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Heriberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damian Heriberto in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Akinfeev saved Voskresensk FC from getting behind. In the 92nd minute of the match, Danila Kolobov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santos Guillen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Voskresensk FC's Evgeniy Fomichev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santos Guillen. That made the score 6-2 after 93 minutes of play.
