The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcus Allbäck got free with Wilhelm Galle in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Allbäck scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilhelm Galle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilhelm Galle made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Marcus Allbäck sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adhemar Santos. When Sebastian Käller fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kind of Blue's protests and gave Sebastian Käller a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Joinville City - FSCMZ booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Käller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 27th minute of play. Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Santos in the 29th minute of play. Wilhelm Galle came out of the goal and Adhemar Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute of the match, Anastasios Pallini got a very nice opportunity to score, but Haji Sarap was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Bernardino Llorenc was substituted for Marcus Allbäck. Kind of Blue's Östen Högman was substituted for Zhuo Ke Le. In the 63rd minute of the match Joinville City - FSCMZ got a corner. Kind of Blue's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
