After 26 minutes, Lucjan Sanocki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT and the Atletico de la Rosa CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yoelvis Frecha didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Atletico de la Rosa CF's Marcell Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 56th minute of play. Dražen Ladić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Santo's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Pim Fortuin kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Atletico de la Rosa CF's Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca was substituted for Oscar Santo. Atletico de la Rosa CF's Alessandro Eguizabal was substituted for Fortunato Miner. Pim Fortuin hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Marcell Yashin came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Marcelo Cordero. But to his dismay, Marcelo Cordero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danny-Rafael De La Rosa-Choca, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Atletico de la Rosa CF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
