The corner led to AC Roma's Javier Della Francesca getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Alvaro Sforza took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustaw Fafinski. Gustaw Fafinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Brandon Rick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Sforza came free, but Gustaw Fafinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Sforza scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaw Fafinski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustaw Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza in the 23rd minute of play. AC Roma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Armin Ascenzi in the 41st minute. Alvaro Sforza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 44 minutes into the match, Hamburg Fighters's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Sforza came free, but Gustaw Fafinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gianni Balla was the one to do the kick off. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Gustaw Fafinski as he didn't even see the shot coming. AC Roma's Enzo De Nicola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Balla in the 65th minute of play. Gustaw Fafinski made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Alvaro Sforza sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fatbardh Malko during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fatbardh Malko hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hamburg Fighters fully deserved thier win.
