Gianluca Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lenny Verheijden's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Damiano Santagata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gianluca Buffon was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Ricardo Araújo made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Abdurrahim Ateş. The supporters of Eşeği Saldım Çayıra booed when Büyükada Commandos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayati Peker didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 23rd minute of play forced Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's goalkeeper Nando Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26thth minute of the game Damiano Santagata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Büyükada Commandos's Gianluca Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Büyükada Commandos's zone, Damiano Santagata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluca Buffon came out of the goal and Damiano Santagata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damiano Santagata took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gianluca Buffon. Gianluca Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gianluca Buffon came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Damiano Santagata. But to his dismay, Damiano Santagata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The throw-in from Abdurrahim Ateş in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Büyükada Commandos's Ricardo Araújo. After 47 played minutes Eşeği Saldım Çayıra got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Verheijden. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Santagata in the 52nd minute of play forced Büyükada Commandos's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Damiano Santagata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Büyükada Commandos made a substitution. Aycan Lütfi replaced Mirza Nevzat. After a defensive mix-up in Büyükada Commandos's zone, Damiano Santagata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluca Buffon came out of the goal and Damiano Santagata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute Ronaldinho Gaucho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Muslera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Gaucho in the 66th minute of play. Gianluca Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Santagata in the 70th minute of the match. Büyükada Commandos's Hüseyin Turan Esay was substituted for Ronaldinho Gaucho. Büyükada Commandos's Hakan Calhanoglu was substituted for Şenol Akbaba. Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Paşa Erçin was substituted for Ivo Van haeck. Abdurrahim Ateş made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Güney Olcay immediately put the ball in play. Büyükada Commandos's Gianluca Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Zapata in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Eşeği Saldım Çayıra's Mario Zapata dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Mario Zapata got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 94 played minutes Eşeği Saldım Çayıra got a freekick which was hit by Abdurrahim Ateş. Hüseyin Turan Esay kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Eşeği Saldım Çayıra played a much better game than Büyükada Commandos and deserved their victory. The Büyükada Commandos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
