In the 18th minute, one of Warberg FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Warberg FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vit Brun in the 27th minute of play forced FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Isac Hojbota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Des Nutsch sped through FC Politehnica Timisoara's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isac Hojbota. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Olimpiu Rizea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Politehnica Timisoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Olimpiu Rizea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justas Kukulskis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Warberg FC's Justas Kukulskis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Rizea in the 30th minute of play. Isac Hojbota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vit Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Maneas short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Justas Kukulskis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gordie Goretzka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Hojbota having to interfere. After taking down the ball on FC Politehnica Timisoara's corner Ivar Eklund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Justas Kukulskis quite easily take care of the ball. Nicolae Nicoliță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justas Kukulskis having to make a save. In the 96thth minute of the game Ivar Eklund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warberg FC's Justas Kukulskis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Warberg FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
