Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gavril Bucur kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabien Defer in the 3rd minute of play forced BOTAFOGO's goalkeeper Adalberto Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 minutes, Nguyễn Lien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minh City FC and the BOTAFOGO players grew even worse after the yellow card. 4 minutes into the game, one of Minh City FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kauan Melo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Set Doig came out and tried to block the shot, but Kauan Melo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Fabien Defer struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Adalberto Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minh City FC. BOTAFOGO's Adalberto Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Defer in the 11th minute of play. Adalberto Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc-Olivier Cortès in the 14th minute of the match. Gavril Bucurs short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Set Doig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adalberto Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc-Olivier Cortès, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Minh City FC's Fabien Defer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adalberto Breckenfeld narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Édouard Deloge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Dário Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabien Defer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Adalberto Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavril Bucur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adalberto Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Defer, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Set Doig was a little too slow when Gavril Bucur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. 37 minutes into the game, Gernando de Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BOTAFOGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minh City FC the free kick. Minh City FC's Fabien Defer got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in BOTAFOGO's zone, Fabien Defer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Breckenfeld came out of the goal and Fabien Defer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BOTAFOGO's Adalberto Vianna was substituted for Gavril Bucur. The supporters of BOTAFOGO booed when Minh City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Lien didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match, Adalberto Vianna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Set Doig was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 48 minutes into the match, Minh City FC's goalkeeper Set Doig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kauan Melo.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marc-Olivier Cortès to strike the kick off in the second half. Set Doig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Édouard Deloge went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Marc-Olivier Cortès took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adalberto Breckenfeld. Adalberto Breckenfeld dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Nilmar Correia charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilmar Correia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marc-Olivier Cortès was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Minh City FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 79 minutes into the match, BOTAFOGO's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Tấn Dũng came free, but Adalberto Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Édouard Deloge in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Set Doig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Adalberto Vianna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Set Doig was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When Fabien Defer fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minh City FC's protests and gave Fabien Defer a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Minh City FC's Fabien Defer got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Édouard Deloge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Set Doig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minh City FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
